FIGHT OVERVIEW

OVERVIEW

Single phase encounter with some damage amp windows.

Wind occasionally blows through the tunnels and shoves players.

Use the Viscous Cysts, which knock and slow, to stay on the platform.

The tank mechanic is a random sequence of 3 abilities: group soak, solo soak, and dodge.

FIGHT CHANGES

Mutilate applies a 500% vulnerability debuff. Alternate soaking.

Caustic Claws creates more venom puddles.

FIGHT CHANGES

Serpent's Fury is a new mechanic that 14 players need to help soak.

Serpent's Fury triggers Virulence, which causes players to drop puddles... yeah, Mythic has a LOT of area denial from puddles!

Phase 1

Watch out for the Winds position and order.

Drop the Cyst accordingly to survive the blow.

Make sure to save cooldowns for the winds.

Pick an ability to see its details.

Venomous Surge

Winds

Several players are marked and debuffed. They will drop a Viscous Cyst at their feet when the debuff expires.

This is the mechanic you'll use to solve the winds.

Touching the Cyst will pop it, knocking back all players and applying a slow.

Players should place these Cysts opposite of the marked tunnels. The goal is to have a Cyst to pop for each wind push.

Cysts pop on their own after 2 minutes. Make sure to safely pop any extras before they expire so players aren't knocked randomly.

Everyone

Drop Cysts opposite of marked tunnels and use them during Winds.

What to do

Place Cysts correctly

Howling Maelstrom

Winds

Sszorak takes 30% increased damage during winds.

There will be two Ravages in each Apex Predator sequence.

Everyone

You'll need to split the raid into two soaking groups and alternate.

Once activated players will take some damage and get Virulence.

Virulence

Mythic mechanic

After soaking, players are marked by a circle with crossing lines.

Shortly after, these players will burst for damage, spread the debuff to anyone hit, and drop a puddle.

Take this to the edges of the room and spread out to avoid spreading the debuff.

This adds a lot more area denial, so you need to be mindful!.

You'll be shoved into each other and cancel the knock.
