Tank Buster

https://www.wowhead.com/en/spell=459627 - Big tank hit; use a defensive. Also applies a bleed and debuffs the tank, increasing Tank Buster damage taken by 200% for 25s.

Swap tank.

Protective Plating

https://www.wowhead.com/en/spell=466615 - Vexie's tank has stacks of Plating protecting it. Stacks are removed with a Bike Crash mechanic. Removing all stacks triggers Phase 2 and causes a 100% damage amp for a short time. If the boss reaches 100 energy before plate breaks, it starts pulsing massive damage and will most likely wipe the raid.

Remove the boss' stacks.

Exhaust Fumes

https://www.wowhead.com/en/spell=468147 - Short 6s channel of raid-wide damage. This damage increases by 25% each subsequent cast.

Heal through.

Mechanics

Blaze of Glory

https://www.wowhead.com/en/spell=459453 - When bikers die, they leave their bike behind. Players can click the bikes to control them. Use the button to launch the bike at the boss and remove a Plating stack.

Click bikes and drive them into the boss.

Spew Oil

https://www.wowhead.com/en/spell=459666 - Big tank hit; use a defensive. Also applies a bleed and debuffs the tank, increasing Tank Buster damage taken by 200% for 25s.

Move oil away from players.

Call Biker

https://www.wowhead.com/en/spell=459943 - Vexie periodically summons biker adds. They are baited on players and charge in a straight line toward them, dealing damage to anyone hit. Stay close to the boss to bait them and maximize cleave DPS.

Bait the bikers close to the boss.

Tune Up

https://www.wowhead.com/en/spell=460116 - The Geargrinder repairs its plating over 45s and summons adds. Pit Mechanics channel repair on the boss, shortening the damage amp phase. Interrupt and crowd control them while killing them.

Keep the phase long by crowd-controlling and killing adds.

Mechanical Breakdown

https://www.wowhead.com/en/spell=460603 - The boss breaks down when all plating is removed, increasing damage taken by 100%. During this time, the boss pulses raid-wide rot damage, and the engine backfires sending fire swirlies in the room.

Dodge swirlies, deal high damage, and heal significantly.

Burning Shrapnel

https://www.wowhead.com/en/spell=460625 - When a bike hits a wall or the boss, it creates small explosions.

Dodge the swirlies.

Incendiary Fire

https://www.wowhead.com/en/spell=468207 - Targeted players drop fire circles at their feet, following the player for a short time. Touching oil with a fire circle lights the oil on fire, causing it to disappear. Run over the oil if you need space in the room.

Move away from other players.

Oil Canister

https://www.wowhead.com/en/spell=1216731 - Bikes need to be refueled on Mythic difficulty before you can crash them into the boss. When bikers die, they create soak circles. Soaking debuff players, causing them to take 500% damage from future soaks for 1 min. Players who have soaked can walk near a bike to refuel it.

Tips

1. Bait close to the boss (Phase 1):

Position yourself and the group close to the boss to make baiting the biker adds easier. This way, the adds will come closer to the boss, allowing everyone to hit them more effectively with AoE damage. Additionally, this makes it easier to use the bikes left by the adds to remove the boss’s plating.

2. Managing oil pools (Heroic and Mythic)

In Heroic difficulty, ensure that the bikers run through the oil pools to stun them. In Mythic difficulty, position the raid so that players soaking the circles are not surrounded by others, minimizing the risk of harmful overlaps.

3. Bikes

Players should have a rule to refuel bikes from left to right, otherwise you might end up in a situation where there are 3 bikes but each has 1 stack of fuel. This is suboptimal because it delays the charges and adds more RNG to the fight; for example, you might suddenly have oil puddles in the way that prevent you from charging the boss.
