What is Scrapping?

Scrapping is a new chaotic and surprisingly lucrative activity introduced in Patch 11.1! It unlocks when you reach Renown 2 with the Cartels of Undermine. Here's what you need to know:
  • Look for the trashcan icon on your minimap—it marks the next Scrapping location.
  • Head to the area and you’ll find:
  • 🗑️ A trash pile
  • 🛠️ A Goblin NPC
  • 🤖 A robot
  • 🛒 A machine vendor

How to Start Scrapping

  1. Talk to the Goblin NPC to begin the activity.
  2. A 5-minute timer will start.
  3. Interact with the trash pile to start collecting! Every second of Scrapping rewards you with Empty Kaja Cola Cans, the main currency of the activity.
💡 Pro Tip: Interact with the robot and toss in some gold! The more gold you (or others) contribute, the more bonus Empty Kaja Cola Cans you’ll earn!

Activity Objective

During the 5-minute timer, you and others in the area will work to fill the Scrapping Bar (0-1000). The higher the progress, the better the rewards!

Reward Tiers

  • Small Chest (low progress): Contains resonance crystals, valorstones, and gold.
  • Medium Chest (mid progress): Better rewards than the small chest.
  • Biggest Chest (700+ progress): Packed with the best rewards, including more resonance crystals, valorstones, and gold!

Reaching 1000 on the Bar

If the group maxes out the Scrapping Bar, a rare elite called Gallagio Garbage will spawn!

Renown Unlocks

Climbing the Renown ranks with the Cartels of Undermine grants powerful perks to improve your Scrapping efficiency!

  • Unlocks treasures in trash piles!

  • Mechanic’s Best Motivator (Mace)

  • Renown 7 - "Scrappy S.C.R.A.P.per I":
  • Unlocks Kaja’Cola X-Treme from the Machine Vendor.
  • Boosts movement speed by 50% and haste by 30% for 20 seconds.
  • Renown 11 - "Scrappy S.C.R.A.P.per II":
  • 50% chance to earn Gunk-Covered Thingies, a special currency from end-of-activity chests.
  • Renown 14 - "Kaja-Cola Collector":
  • Unlocks a chance to find Vintage Kaja-Cola Bottles, a rare currency used to purchase special items from the Scrapping Vendor.
  • Renown 16 - "Scrappy S.C.R.A.P.per III":
  • Unlocks two new items:
  • Kaja’Cola X-Treme Mega Can: Same effects as regular X-Treme but lasts 1 minute!
  • Multi-Pack of Kaja’Cola: Applies the same buffs to you AND nearby players—teamwork, baby!
