Loom'ithar

Loom'Ithar is a colossal beast encountered within the Manaforge Omega in World of Warcraft, responsible for producing the "living silk" used by Shadowguards. It is a territorial creature that utilizes its silk to trap and damage players, unleashing bursts of arcane energy. Upon reaching 50% health, Loom'Ithar enters a state of "Unbound Rage" and tears itself apart, initiating a final, deadly phase.

Heroic Changes
In P1, the webs in the ring are immune until hit by the boss' beam. The boss summons the ring at the start of the fight.
In P1, if you break the tether between you and the boss in a pool of webs, you are stunned 3s.
In P2, you can't soak 2 cones in a row. Divide your raid in half, with each group taking turns to soak.
Mythic Changes
In P1 there are 4 pillars in the room that periodically activate and channel a beam toward the boss.
If the beam hits the boss, the raid takes damage. Stand in the beam to soak it. Rotate players who soak.
When the boss summons the ring of webs, he now summons 2 at the same time. You need to break a web's shield in both rings.
If you break a web tether in a pool of webs, you are now stunned 10s.
In P2, when the boss pushes the raid back, it also drops pools of blood, and all players explode shortly after. Spread.

Tips

information

1. Phase 1 Pylons Mechanics (Mythic)

During Phase 1, up to four Arcane Pylons activate progressively. Their beams must be intercepted to prevent them from channeling into the boss, which increases raid damage. Players should rotate soaking every 4–6 stacks of the DoT (which fades after 5 seconds). Two players per pylon are enough to handle the mechanic safely.

2. Phase 1 Webs (Mythic)

On Mythic difficulty, each Lair Weaving pattern has two collapsing rings instead of one, each with a Woven Ward to destroy—one on the inner and one on the outer ring. Wards are only vulnerable after being hit by Piercing Strand, which both tanks receive in sequence. Additionally, Infusion Tether deals an extra burst of damage to the tethered player when it breaks, so healers should ensure they are topped before snapping it.
information

3. Phase 2 Arcane Outrage

In Mythic Phase 2, save Hero/Lust and DPS cooldowns for this phase. Healers should prepare big ramps for each Arcane Outrage. The ability still deals heavy raid-wide damage, but on Mythic it also causes small explosions from each player at the end of the channel—everyone must spread immediately to avoid overlaps. Writhing Wave still needs a group soak, and at least five players must take the hit to prevent the boss from gaining Deathbound, which slows the kill. The fight repeats until the boss dies. Mechanics: soak the frontal, spread for circles, move the boss clockwise to avoid puddles. Damage ramps up over time, so finish the phase quickly.
